Transferability and replicability of the project: life lagoon refresh's staff visited Italian and European winner sites

After workshops and surveys of the project site by Italian and European winners of the Call for Interest , the LIFE Lagoon Refresh’s staff visited the selected sites to acquire information needed to share possible intervention strategies. Visits were held in the Italian sites (Sacca of Scardovari in the Delta Po river of Veneto, some lagoons near Ravenna, and the Apulian Acquatina di Frigole) in autumn 2021, while European sites (the Spanish lagoon of l’Albufera de Valencia, the French salt marshes of Hyeres, the Greek Nestos Delta lagoons and Porto Lagos) were visited in summer of 2022. All surveys were excellent opportunities for deepening common themes and sharing experiences and different points of view. Now, we are looking forward to seeing LIFE Lagoon Refresh’s strategies, actions and methods been transferred and replicated to the selected sites.
