After-LIFE: European Night of Researchers 2023
The European Night of Researchers took place on Saturday 30th September and the LIFE Lagoon Refresh project could not be missed. Hundreds and hundreds of people of all ages came to the event, hosted by the University of Padua, at their prestigious headquarters at Palazzo Grassi in Chioggia. All the visitors were involved with great interest in the games and activities: microscopic observations of macrozoobenthos organisms, filtration experiments of water samples, and much more. The ecological restoration interventions carried out in the Venice lagoon, such as the LIFE Lagoon Refresh, were the protagonists of the evening. In the After-LIFE period of the project, the opportunities to talk about the objectives, activities and obtained results continue, to keep attention alive on the restoration activities of the Venetian lagoon.
