The LIFE Lagoon Refresh project celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Natura 2000 Network and the LIFE Programme!

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the European Natura 2000 Network and the LIFE programme (21st of May), LIFE Lagoon Refresh will be introduced during the seminar organized in collaboration with the Master’s degree course in Marine Biology of the University of Padua. Researchers of the project will explain the activities carried out for the restoration of the typical ecotonal environment of oligo-mesohaline lagoons, characterized by a marked saline gradient and large areas vegetated with reeds. In addition to the seminar, e a field trip to the sites subject to the ecological restoration actions of the project is also planned.
Since 2022 is also the European Year of Youth, the event will be for University Students.
The event will be in English language.
